Best practices to ensure cost-effective labeling of skincare and shipping
When I first started my business, I was trying to figure out how to handle the logistics of home-based skincare shipping. I had my eco-friendly skincare packaging ready, but I needed to find an affordable, easy way to physically get my products to customers. That’s when I discovered the Munbyn Bluetooth label printer. I recommend that any home business owner check out this easy-to-use printer. Munbyn empowers small business owners to create personalized labels using the Munbyn Print App. I love using Munbyn to increase brand awareness and establish a personal connection with customers.
For anyone selling homemade skincare, ensuring your customers receive their products quickly and in perfect condition helps boost overall customer satisfaction. Start by creating personalized sticker labels that align with your brand image and shipping labels for more cost-effective skincare shipping.
Cutting costs without cutting corners on skincare labeling and shipping efficiency
Cutting costs without sacrificing quality is the best way to expand your small skincare business. I love finding products and solutions that allow me to work smarter, not harder. I use Munbyn’s products to keep my overhead costs as low as possible while improving quality!
If you sell skincare products, you know how important skincare labeling is. Personalized, high-quality labels create a better shopper experience and boost your brand’s reputation. Labels let your buyers know what’s in your skincare and how they will benefit from your products. Making labels is easy with the Munbyn print app. I usually connect the app with my phone, but you can also use a USB cable to connect to any computer.
Now that you have a custom label, it’s time to learn how to ship beauty products without breaking the bank. Nowadays, shipping homemade beauty items is easier than ever with Munbyn.
Munbyn ensures cost-saving and eco-friendly shipping for skincare business owners. But what’s even better? Munbyn’s shipping labels and sticker labels are waterproof, ensuring that your shipping information won’t get ruined during harsh weather.
Essential tips for safely shipping skincare products
Check out my favorite tips to ensure your skincare products reach customers in perfect condition.
1. Use proper packaging materials. Sturdy packaging materials help protect your products from damage during transit. To reduce waste, I prefer using sustainable shipping materials for skincare. Eco-friendly materials like recycled paper, cardboard, or biodegradable plastics help protect fragile items like traditional packaging materials, like bubble wrap or packing peanuts.
2. Choose the right shipping carrier. Select a carrier with experience handling beauty products and can adhere to skincare shipping regulations. Ask about temperature-controlled skincare shipping if your products are temperature-sensitive.
3. Use waterproof labels. Munbyn’s waterproof shipping labels won’t smudge or disintegrate during transit. I’ve never had an issue with harsh weather using them. My products make it safely to their destination—even in the snow or rain.
4. Label clearly. Label your packages clearly with all the necessary information, including the recipient’s address, return address, and special handling instructions.
5. Test your packaging. Whether you’re using traditional or eco-friendly skincare packaging, do a dry run to ensure it can withstand the shipping process. I sent a test shipment to a family member to see how my packaging held up during transit.
Streamlining Your DIY Skincare Label Creation and Shipping Process
Not sure how to make your own skincare product labels and ship them out? Munbyn makes skincare shipping for beginners simple. Creating and shipping product labels with Munbyn is a breeze. Keep in mind that I am a busy mom, so when I say something is quick, I mean it. Here’s how I use Munbyn to create and ship product labels.
Step 1: Create a Label
You can use the Munbyn Print App to create and personalize the label from scratch or use the free shipping label template.
Step 2: Print
You can create a printable shipping label from your home printer or use Munbyn’s thermal label printer to seriously speed up the process. Munbyn’s Bluetooth thermal printer prints one label per second, significantly saving time for shipping.
Step 3: Apply the Label
I love using the thermal printer because you don’t need to cut paper shipping labels and tape them on the box, saving a lot of time. Just print and stick the label to the outside of the package.
Step 4: Ship
Choose a shipping service that aligns with your needs, like international skincare product shipping or a carrier specializing in shipping organic skincare products. Many popular seller websites like Etsy or Shopify have shipping integrations, or you can use USPS, FedEx, or UPS.
How to design labels with the Munbyn Print app
Step 1: Open the Munbyn Print app and tap “create.”
Step 2: Choose a new label that matches the size of the label you want to use. In this example, I’m using the 3.9 by 5.9 inch shipping label.
Step 3: Choose elements like barcodes, text, QR codes, borders, and more to add to your label.
You can create custom barcodes and QR codes.
You can also add text boxes and resize them to fit.
Step 4: Once you’ve added everything you want to the label design, you can save it and print it, right from the app using a bluetooth connection.
If you prefer, you can also design labels on a computer using whatever program or platform you like, and print them with the Munbyn printer using either a bluetooth connection or a USB cable.
