Salmon has many nutritional benefits, including:

Because of all of these health benefits, and since I lived in landlocked Colorado without a lot of access to fresh seafood, canned salmon is definitely a pantry staple in my home.

While you can eat them cold, feel free to warm up in a skillet for a minute or heat up in the toaster oven for 10 minutes.
If you want to store your homemade salmon patties for longer, just freeze them. Wrap them in parchment paper and store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to four months. That way, whenever you are craving this delicious meal, all you need to do is defrost in the fridge or toaster oven and then enjoy.
